FreeEventsList is dedicated to being the most complete online guide to Vermont and the Upper Valley’s wonderfully varied – and free – cultural offerings. No matter where you live or where in Vermont or the Upper Valley that you want to explore there are free events ready to experience. From the perfect family outing to the latest cultural events we’ve got you covered, 365 days a year.

FreeEventsList started as an ‘ah-hah’ moment when we realized that there were incredible events – even completely free ones – that were not being fully attended by the public. Why was that? Most organizations that produce events, even ones that are free, publicize them. Perhaps it was because the target audience was too narrow, or, if advertised was completely missed by a potential audience member.
That’s where FreeEventsList comes in: to be an online, constantly updated calendar of free events, across varied categories, for children, teens, adults and families all across Vermont and the Upper Valley.

Samantha Candon and Donna Pereira-Mackall both live in the Connecticut River Valley, and while we love regular outings with our families we do enjoy the occasional event with just our girlfriends or husbands.

Enjoy!

The Long Trail Brewing Company began its mission to brew high quality craft beer in November 1989. A humble beginning in the basement of the old Bridgewater Woolen Mill along the Ottauquechee River in the Green Mountains of Vermont was soon outgrown so the brewery packed up and “Hit the Trail” up the road to a riverside hay field where they now reside in a state of art, environmentally friendly brewery. Now, thousands of visitors every year experience Long Trail’s hospitality and unique country ambience while enjoying great food, fresh brews and an intimate view of the brewing process at the brewery’s Visitor Center.

The Magic Hat Artifactory, the nerve center of it all, is located in South Burlington, VT, and is ready to take your taste buds to places you never knew existed! The Growler Bar is a sight to behold with 48 taps a flowin’ and a constantly changing line-up of Magic Hat’s best beers, including all our year-round offerings, the current seasonal and even some experimental brews! Come take in the mysterious ambience created by the best tasting beer on the planet!
