The Green Mountain Club
The Green Mountain Club (GMC) founded, built, and maintains Vermont’s Long Trail. The first long-distance hiking trail in the United States, the Long Trail spans the high peaks through Vermont from the Massachusetts state line 270+ miles to the Canadian border.
